VibeTo AI ("VibeTo", "we", "us") is operated by MegatronLabs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Account and Purchase Data

When you purchase VibeTo AI, we collect your email address and payment information through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles all payment processing securely.

Voice and Audio Data

VibeTo AI processes your voice locally on your device for speech recognition. When using Apple Speech as your provider, audio never leaves your Mac. When using cloud providers (OpenAI Whisper, Groq, Deepgram), audio is sent directly to those providers using your own API keys. We never receive, store, or have access to your audio recordings.

Analytics Data

With your consent, we use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics such as page views, feature usage, and app performance metrics. This data helps us improve VibeTo. You can opt out of analytics at any time by declining cookies or clearing your browser consent.

Device Information

For license validation, we collect a hashed device identifier. This is used solely to enforce the device limit on lifetime licenses (up to 5 devices). We do not track your location, IP address, or browsing activity.

How We Use Your Data

• To process purchases and manage your license
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, license keys)
• To provide customer support
• To improve VibeTo AI through anonymous analytics (with consent)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• PostHog — anonymous usage analytics (consent-based)

When you use cloud speech-to-text providers, your audio is sent directly from your device to those providers. We are not a party to that data transfer.

Data Storage and Security

Your API keys are stored locally in the macOS Keychain, encrypted at rest by the operating system. We do not have access to your API keys. Purchase and license data is stored securely in our infrastructure.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your license. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g., tax records).

You have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time

Children's Privacy

VibeTo AI is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
